I'm Sam, I'm a Brooklyn native currently residing in Astoria, NY.

My road into photography is a long story for another time. Fast forward and I finally realized my dream of becoming a professional photographer having left a 15 year career in IT.

When I first began shooting, I almost immediately began with a strong focus on portraiture mainly because I loved the way it connected me to people. I started thinking about subjects that really interested me and used my photography as a tool to meet people and explore their world. This naturally shifted my focus towards editorial and documentary-style photography which is most prominent in my personal work and eventually opened many doors for me with many of my clients today.

I'm living out my dream today being able to work with a variety of subjects both out and about or in a studio setting but still all surrounding that same theme of connecting and sharing stories.
